That's all! Simple. If we need any additional information, we'll contact you. Otherwise, check your emails in the days leading up to your move for important updates to ensure everything goes smoothly.
It's always best to schedule as soon as you have a moving date in mind! We prefer at least two weeks' notice, especially for weekend moves, but we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests.
Absolutely! We can hold your items overnight in our truck. Unlike other moving companies that offload items into their warehouse, we keep your items on our truck, charging only $150 per truck per night. This minimizes handling and reduces the risk of damage.
If your plans change, just let us know as soon as possible. We understand that things happen, and we do not charge a rescheduling fee.
Yes, we are licensed by the state of Oklahoma and the USDOT and fully insured.
No. All our staff members are background-checked employees of Bison Moving.
No! Our owner, Kye, founded Bison Moving in 2022 with just one truck. By avoiding franchise fees and maintaining low overhead, we pass the savings on to our customers.
We charge a flat-rate travel fee that covers the drive from our office to your home and back after the move. This allows us to start the clock when we arrive and stop it when we finish, saving you money compared to competitors who charge for drive time.
We strive to be as transparent as possible, listing all fees on our website. You can view our pricing page here.
No deposit is required to get on our schedule!
Payment is collected on-site immediately after we complete your move.
Tipping is entirely up to you! Our team would greatly appreciate a tip if you were happy with the service.
One truck can accommodate approximately 1500 to 1800 square feet of living space. This can vary depending on how furnished the home is, including items from garages, attics, and outdoor spaces.
We suggest adding a second crew if your home is over 3000 square feet or densely packed. A second truck may also be beneficial for smaller homes moving more than 20-30 minutes away. We can help determine the best plan for your move.
Preparation is crucial. Pack as many items as possible into boxes to reduce loose items and trips to the truck. Centrally locating items in each room or near an entry point (like the garage or front door) can save time. Labeling boxes helps our team place them in the correct rooms at your new location.
We are accustomed to moving in all weather conditions. We use shrink wrap and blankets to protect your items. If the weather is severe, we can pause the clock and wait for it to pass. Having towels handy can help if rain is forecasted, especially for items going into storage.
We can help you take the TV off the wall, but we cannot assist with the mount itself.
Yes! Our crews can handle basic assembly tasks like bed frames, dresser mirrors, and dining table legs. However, we do not perform specialized assembly for items like Sleep Number beds, trampolines, playsets, or complex gym equipment. We can disassemble cribs, but we do not reassemble them for safety reasons.
We cannot handle water or electrical/gas connections for appliances. For safety, we recommend hiring a plumber or handyman. Please ensure these items are disconnected and drained before our arrival.
We cannot pack or transport sensitive items such as medications, firearms and ammunition, flammable or hazardous items, jewelry, currency, or essential documents. Please pack these items yourself and transport them. We can assist with loading and unloading them into your vehicle if needed.
We recommend packing electronics in their original boxes for a proper fit. TVs must be in a properly fitted box for transport to avoid damage. We sell TV boxes if you need one!
Double or triple-tape the bottoms of boxes for security. Use bubble wrap and packing paper for fragile items like glass and China. Avoid overloading boxes, especially with books, and use small boxes for heavy items. Ensure all box tops are taped shut and clearly labeled with contents, the room they belong to, and whether they are fragile.
Yes! Non-breakable items such as clothing can be left in drawers. We will use blankets and shrink wrap to secure the drawers during transport.
